Puerto Plata: Tourist Places

As expected, Puerto Plata is one of the most visited tourist places in the Dominican Republic, including:

The 27 puddles of Damajagua: complex of 27 waterfalls with guided adrenaline tours, hiking, descents and swimming. They offer a full day of hiking through thick forests, crossing bridges and discovering Dominican flora, before reaching the rocky hilltop from where you will begin your journey down, jumping or sliding down a series of waterfalls. Safety equipment is mandatory when you slide down water-padded slides, or jump into deep turquoise pools.

Laguna Dudu: it is an ecological park where you can rest in a hammock, maybe discover a Taino cave, cool off in the La Cueva cenote, snorkel or dive in the main lagoon of the Dudú cenote. You must plan three days in advance for diving! You may want to venture into a free fall from the zip line! It's awesome and what a hurry! What you want is in your hands as a restaurant to satisfy your appetite and soft drinks!

Ocean Word: a striking attraction where several encounters with animals are offered, such as swimming with sharks and dolphins.

San Felipe de Puerto Plata Fortress: it is a monument of the Dominican Republic, located in the north of the country in the province of Puerto Plata.
